Lovely if you want British tourists in your hotel, abusing the all inclusive alcohol policies and being sick everywhere.
My God are you are so anti British !
Majorca in the North is sensational, and the sick everywhere comment? personal expierence or just another type casting?
All inclusive means all inclusive how are they abused ... or is having fun against your outlook on life

Have you considered Egypt? I have been twice and love it- all inclusive, 5* hotel for a week usually costs about £1500, thats for 2 adults and 2 children! the majority of the hotels in sharm el sheikh have massive slides and other water park stuff, beaches and huge pools. The egyptians are very hospitable and friendly. There is a lovely holiday village there as well!
you might find it better value countries where they use the euro, as the pound is so weak at the moment- when we went to euro disney in december the pound was equal to 0.75 euros!!!:eek:0 -
I'm guessing you are planning to go during the summer holidays?
I think Turkey is Very, very hot in the summer months and not somewhere I would go (personally) during July and August.
Completely agree with this - way too hot for 2 kids who have never travelled. How far are you comfortable flying ?0 -
I love Majorca, I can't wait to go back again. I've never seen any Brits being sick at all, most are well behaved. The Majorcan people are lovely and very welcoming.
I wouldn't consider going to Turkey during the summer, it would be unbearably hot.
Good luck.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

am looking for holidays to take my little one too, so have spent the last couple of days looking at exactly the types of holiday OP mentioned. the things i would consider:
flight duration
transfer time (not always great to be on a coach for hours after the plane journey)
air con in room - especially in height of summer
distance to beach - some can be quite a long way
i've been looking in particular at the majorca/menorca/ibiza and just trawling through the online websites and then on trip advisor etc narrowing down my choices.
with the consideration you're already putting in, i'm sure you'll have a fantastic first family holiday.0 -

I am glad someone else has noticed! I am absolutely sick to death of this poster continually making anti-British remarks. Anyone else who did this with such regularity would find themselves PPR'd. Would be interested to know why this poster is allowed to continue! Also, continually trawls the disability and benefit threads making unhelpful and downright ignorant comments on there as well.0 -
Just to throw in something completly off track have you looked at the camping sites on the med (Keycamps / Eurosites) ect.
OK not the lap of luxury but with cheap flights you would save a fortune. they have great playgrounds, pools and most important lots of other kids in a safe area for yours to play with. We spent loads of time there when my kids were small and they remember it now (25 / 30) whilst the cant remember the trips to USA that cost an arm and a leg :rotfl:
Have a great time whatever you choose.:beer:Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
