This user goes around baiting others so please do not rise to it.

Very close to being reported too.

Edited because I can't read properly

He is paid too deliver the mail

Its not his fault you order things that dont fit in your letterbox

So what's the point in a mail service that you have to pay for?? what a ridiculous comment!!

    Are you talking about me?

How insulting. I don't "bait" anyone.

If you've got a problem, then say it to my face.
No, not you that's why he quoted someone else :/

I thought he was talking to them (as opposed to talking about them).:o

    Sorry - my bad :rotfl:

I'm sure for some posties it's perverse pay back

My oh once very politely asked the postman not to force his way through our newly planted hedge to deliver to our neighbour after delivering to us
sadly once became thrice,oh rang sorting office

After the last request we had no post for 5 days ! I kid you not
All our do not bends came bent for months (son had award certs from college etc..) and some letters looked like they had been seriously screwed up on purpose
He sat outside our cottage with his radio blaring and the engine running whilst delivering,he had not done this previously

If the postie shat on my doormat I would hand him my loo roll ! these days its too much trouble and if you complain which we did nothing get's done and you bring trouble on yourself.
"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

For all the bad posties I can say we are so lucky as we have a fab one.

He will knock on the door for us, he will leave things in the meter box as he knows I often just miss him when picking up LO from pre-school & he will tell me as I am walking down the road, bless him the other day he knocked asked to use our phone as his son had an exam & he had forgotten his phone to call & wish him luck - which we did not mind at all. He always has time to stop for a chat. I know we are lucky & even when he has a day off we always have the same stand in who is brilliant too.

How hard can it be to deliver to either one of 2 named neighbours? seemingly impossible, I arrive home from work to find parcels on my step in full view of the road:mad:
  • I'm lucky too with my postie, although he does force some Ebay packages through my tiny letterbox, nothing breakable, and I think he does it to save me going to pick them up later, but it does make me smile if I'm in and hear him shoving away. He's very determined :D

my postie is OK but whenever we have to sign for anything he goes 'another one for you', 'what are you buying all the time!' and 'glad you're in as i couldn't lug THIS back to the office' - etc, as if it's too much trouble for him!! we buy everything online because 1. we don't have a car and 2. we can usually find it cheaper. But it seems, even though we pay for his services, it's all a bit too much effort for him really.
