You might feel fine but inside you don't really know what's going on. My step dad went for slimming pills they checked his blood pressure and it was through the roof they recommended he went to the doctors and wouldn't give him slimming pills. He went and has been on blood pressure tablets since. They saved his life. Make sure you get checked out properly you don't want your child to be motherless do you?

yes I'd had my cervical smear, but that's all they did. I didn't even know they should do it then. When it was high before I had very bad nose bleeds at least every other day, now I don't, they have stoppped, so thats a good thing - right?

of course I don't know what my blood pressure is now, I havn't had it checked since I was pregant 4 years ago. it could be fine. i feel fine

You feel no different with high bp to normal, its not a physical thing in that sense, but then you can have a stroke or whatever just like that. It is scary, one of the main reasons I'm so on top of my bp is because I want to have kids, and my mum spent 5 months in hospital when she was pregnant with me and both her and unborn me were in a lot of danger, so I want to do everything I can to prevent it.

I went to my appointment today at the family planning clinic. Will be having the inplant in. My appointment is in 2 weeks. I longer wait than expected and will be done 3 days before my period, so I've still got 3 weeks to wait until we can stop using condoms.

But I've waited for 3 years, I should have so made the appointment 2 years ago.

    Thank for you help.

and my blood pressure was measured, it was 141/92, which they said was fine. :D

In the past it has been 180 something over 100 something, so it has come down alot which I'm pleased about. I don't eat as much junk as a used to, but still weigh 20 stones. Never mind though.

They say high blood pressure is anything over 140/90 so I wouldn't call that fine. Have it checked every few months. It could have been up due to you being stressed at the clinic but I don't think you should ignore it.
