dumbass question it may be but here goes ...

if you have Wi-Fi built into your mobile does that mean you do not have to use your internet allowance (or pay a daily rate etc.) but can connect to say the wireless network in your house if you have a wireless broadband connection set up for a laptop?

Reeves - Personally speaking I think you should aim to get web bolt-on if you are planning on moving onto contract. It makes your phone more MOBILE and less restrictive to WIFI hotspots. There are some free ones about but normally not where you need them. Plus why would you want to hook it up to your home wifi? it doesn't make logical sense if you already have laptop access in the house which gives you better internet experience. Unless you're planning on doing some light surfing whilst visiting the John. ;)

Wi-fi on handsets can undercut the cost of your bills, VOIP applications exist you can download I call AU more than 400% cheaper ( YES ! with exchange rate a average of 400% cheaper !!! ) than directly through the cheapest UK networks international calls when I am on the move...UK networks loss through sheer greed, Pennytel.com a AU company lets me pay 16cents, that's 6 -10p a minute ( 8p given current exchange rates ) to call a AU mobile or landline with a no subscription payg plan over wifi or internet connection on my mobile ! If Pennytel make profit on 16c per minute how much do UK networks make ?

    Voda:

Region Standard rate/International Call Saver rate (as per minute)

    European countries ** 94p 20p
    Republic of Ireland 94p 25p
    USA & Canada 129p 25p
    Australia & New Zealand 129p 40p
Rest of the World 165p 90p

    http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=template10&pageID=PPP_0022

    NO PRICE FOR "ICS" ??

Pennytel Saving : £1.21 per min

Vodafone: for the worlds biggest global telecommunications company these rates should be the UK's cheapest, Voda fall into 3rd cheapest
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

ITS for just £2.99 per month.

Some older tariffs may also include ITS, so call Customer Services to check or to get it right now - you’ll find the number on your bill. We can get it up and running within 72 hours. Then you can enjoy cheaper calls wherever you’re calling.

How much can I save with ITS?

    World Zones - Standard call/ITS - Standard text/ITS

    Ireland and Channel Island 84p 14p 16p 12p

    W. Europe, EU 89p 17p 16p 12p

    E. Europe 92p 40p 16p 12p

O2: the most EXPENSIVE & no doubt like o2's customers this price per minute makes me
