She won't like that as she married an immigrant. my mum does not think this is the problem. (and this thread is about my mum, not british jobs really, which is why i didn't mention her reasons in the OP!!!!)harveybobbles wrote: »Maybe we should get rid of the non British people then?

I was responding to your post about wanting to know why my mum wanted a british manufactured car. I did not mention it in the OP (original post), only once mentioned by someone elseharveybobbles wrote: »But, erm...

Your original post asks a question if we knew of any cars that are manufactured in the UK.
I simply wanted to know what the reason was...
Now, you obviously asked this for a reason. And the reason was clear on your post (#15).
So you wanted someone else to mention it on here first as you didn't want to?0 -
I didn't feel it was relevant. why you are you trolling my thread? It's just a case of my mum wanting to support the british economy at this difficult time, nowt to do with british people in the jobs. she doesn't care where they are from as they are all paying their taxes if they are working for a big car manufacturer!harveybobbles wrote: »

I think we've covered pretty much every car/manufacturer available now. Can't convince her to buy a Morgan though, I am afraid!!Kavanne

What the hell's happening here.
Kavanne's Mum bless her is trying to buy a car and whilst doing so is going to use her purchase (her money) to help our economy.
Good for her i say and more power to her elbow.
It matters not a jot who she's married to, for all we know Mr Kavanne (Kavanne's Mums husband) may well be a true Brit supporter.
My wife is and she's Greek by birth...a more loyal British subject you couldn't find...defend the streets with a pitch fork if it was needed against anyone.
Kavanne i hope your Mum chooses a good car and all the very best to her.0
