Upload picture then hover mouse over it.
You should get HTML, IMG etc as options. Copy and paste the IMG code and that should work.0 -
Ahhh, success! OK, above is part of the waterways, very pretty. The area is known as 'thousand islands', as well, there are a LOT of islands amongst the water!
The pic below shows a new museum in the area and the outside of the building is covered in maps of the islands!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Apparantly, the below shows the oldest auction house in the world. The boats would drive through it with their goods (fruit, veg, flowers, livestock etc) and people would buy it, and then they came out the other end.
And the below is a nice little bar that can only be reached by boat. There is also one house in the area that can only be reached by boat which is now hired out as a holiday home (but I didn't take a pic of that! Doh!)February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Looks lovely Euronorris!
What do you do over there (if you don't mind me asking...:))0 -
Thanks Macgirl. It was gorgeous. My friend's family is quite 'wealthy' to say the least and her parents house is huge, the back garden backs directly onto the water. Ohh, how the other half lives! lol
I do global payroll coordination and sometimes the same for statutory financial statements (SFS) and corporate income tax (CIT). Bascially, each country does the work, and (with payroll) they send it to us for review ( a sense check) before it is sent to the client.
I used to do more of the SFS and CIT stuff in the UK and that works differently. It was more ensuring that the countries met deadlines, and updating the client, providing reports etc.
All in all, it's pretty boring really, but I enjoy it and I'm good at it too!lol
