    Hi all, me again.
I've noticed before that the people on the credit card boards aren't always that nice to eachother unlike us lot!
Has anyone had a look at the thread about extortionate interest rates? People don't have to agree with posters but surely that lot are just being a bit mean:confused:

    Ah poop to them!

They are not immune to the possibility of redundancy, and may soon find themselves in a similar position.

They'll soon change their tune then!

I've noticed the "You got yourself into debt, so tough sh*t" attitude from a few individuals on the CC board too. We all make mistakes at some point and quite a few of us end up paying for it later in one way or another......all part of a learning experience that will hopefully make sure we are wiser in the future.
I've been seduced by easy credit in the past and only recently have I had that lightbulb moment where I've looked at what I could of had if I didn't have to fork out month after month after month, something like £700-800 paying off loans and cards. I mean, the money I pay on my credit cards could get me a few days in New York every month, or 3 months of not having to pay these bills gets me a month travelling around Australia for example. It's just dead money and I'm going to try and do my best to reverse that situation ASAP.

Anyway, another £102 paid off my Capital One card today, so £83 left on that + the interest for the month when that goes on. May well pay that by next week, or failing that, around the 3rd Sept when I get paid again.

Jus off to call them to have a rant!

On the plus side got myresult of first OU year and.......................I PASSED WHOOOOOOOPEEEEEEEEEEEE

A huge WELL DONE!!!!!!! Very pleased for you.

Just had lunch, sat outside in the sun. Mmmmmm, lovely. Very, very hot though! Phew! lol

Anyway, free drinks tonight! Yay! There is a bar in our office, on the 12th floor!!!!! And it's free!!!! It's only open on Thursday nights, but it has great views across Amsterdam, pool tables, wide screen tv's, snacks and free drinks!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it when they told me. 'Oh, don't you have the same in the UK?' Noooooooooooooo. 'Why not?' hahahahahaha, where to start. My response 'because we would drink that bar dry every Thursday evening and then all call in sick on the Friday!'.

Well, alright, not all. But, enough to make it an issue! lol

    Well done catchooky! :T

Where are the rent a mob headed now then I can't find it? Totally agree about some of the people on the other boards, this is by far the friendliest place to be!

I have loads of stuff to do today but I really can't be bothered to do any pof it, hence the faffing about on here. However, I did go to the gym this morning and did my weigh in aswell and I have lost another **1lb** so Danko could you please pop that on your spreadsheet. Ta.

    xx

Well done on the weight loss Silaqui!

The thread about extortionate interest on CC's has fallen onto the next page (or maybe even the 3rd). It appears that after a few responses from us, the negative peeps have shutup! Hoorah!
