Hi all
Just a quickie from me - £10 to LLoyds CC & £75 to lloyds OD today. HEADS UP :Just found a *new* - well to me anyway - bank type fiddle to make them some cash:eek:......Every morn I check my online banking to see what is going out & can xfer between accounts to make sure I don't go over o/d limits etc. Did this as usual yesterday morn, all was in order, no dds due out etc. For some reason, I also decided to check the banks last night as well. To my horror, during the day they had slapped on some charges to the budget account, therby sending it into *unauthorised* o/d. Aha I thinks, caught it just in time & quicky transferred enough to cover the shortfall, which was duly debited from the current a/c (dated :9th June) ONLY to see that the actual payment into the b/a was dated for the NEXT day :eek::eek: 10th June!! That has never happened before, it is an immediate transfer!!!
Apparently Lloyds rang yesterday to speak to us & asked DH 'why didn't we go in & have a chat with them'. Normally I refuse because their 'little chats' are not to benefit us but are in order for them to sell us products we don't want. Well, I think I might just have a 'little chat' with them this time, as I would really like to know how they justify the above behaviour.
Ah well rant over, I want you all to bear witness that when we get free of these leeches, I will NEVER do business with them ever again................:T:T:TNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Morning all!
Another £2 from me.
Thank Crunchie it's Friday tomorrow0 -
£2.01 to round accounts....I am going to transfer the majority of balance to an interest free card in next few days as mine runs out. Assume cheapest way is to transfer whole balance? its just under £2000 now....but transfer fee will take it back over
I suppose I'd end up paying the same amount in interest....wish I had never got myself into this situation.
