Hi guys! Can I join you? I'm getting myself back on the wagon and have set up electronic transfers to all my CC's on my online banking and my plan is to send at least £1 to each creditor every day (5 creditors) and more if I can afford it. We'll see how I go!

O.k I'm in the middle of doing my online shop (I keep emptying my trolley and starting all over again :( ) because I can't think of any cheap healthy meals to buy! I'm sooo sick of not losing any weight despite counting calories (well, WW points!) so could someone please help me come up with some ideas??!!

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not getting enough exercise!

i think you've partially answered your question! for me, apart from needing to exercise more, it's not so much WHAT i eat but HOW MUCH of it :o. my advice (for what it's worth ) is to fill up on the veg bit of your meals and go smaller on the portions of pasta/rice/meat. do you like salmon? that's a good choice with some steamed/lightly boiled veg and small jacket potato. or pasta with HM veg sauce? or piece of grilled chicken with a huuuuuge salad? don't get too hung up on the calories, when i counted i found i wanted to eat more...

    x good luck x

Aargh what is it with the 2lbs?? We will get back to it ladies, lets all try extra hard this week and try and report a loss next time (she says having just downed a voddy and lemonade with a bag of crisps...:o)

Angelicmary, I find that smaller portions is the way to go. I eat healthy stuff, always homemade, but I could eat mountains of it if I let myself! I have to say I did get rid of most of mine when I was going to the gym every day - I haven't been going as much recently because I've been off and about visiting people but am trying to get started again. I went swimming this morning, yay me! :j

I've just ordered Davina McCalls High Energy 5 DVD for those days when I really can't [STRIKE]be arsed to go[/STRIKE] get to the gym, I've done the routine before and it's pretty good even tho Davina annoys the hell out of me usually. FAL is the person to ask, she's lost loads! :T

Talking of the gym - I am actually rather annoyed  with them at the mionute and want to complain but I'm not sure if it'll come across as a bit selfish and petty - advice please? The special olympics are being held at my gym next week and as such all the facilities are closed (gym and swimming pool) and all classes are cancelled before 7pm every day. Now call me mardy but I pay £22.50 a month for unlimited access - would it look bad on me to ask for a weeks worth of money back? It'll be packed after 7 what with everyone trying to get in, and know it's only a 5er but thats a decent pad! What do you all think? Should I just put up and shut up?

    xx

    Hi Angelic

Can you put your hand on your heart and say you have not gone over your WW points each day/week?????????? :D

If you can, then I suggest there is something you are eating that does not agree with your body. Let me know if you aren't cheating and I will let you have a list of things you can eat for 2 weeks to stabilize your blood sugar

i love a polite complaint when required! ;) it's got to be worth mentioning it to the gym, as "unlimited" is just that - which you're clearly not going to get next week if you can't go in before 7pm. as long as you are pleasant when discussing it with them, you have nothing to lose :D

  • I've got 3 of her DVD's though not that one - and while she is a little annoying they are the best exercise vids I've tried. At least she looks like she's working out and unlike other celebs who do vids, she hasn't put the weight back on a week later :rotfl:

Haven't done one in ages though - really must get my !!!! off the couch - she says drinking red wine on the couch :rotfl:
