Angelicmary :mad: All that energy in this heat, I hope she had a flippin good reason

I don't recall an excuse being made  but she did come round today. She was supposed to be here at 10 but arrived just before 11 (I'm always early for things or visiting people so really hate it when people don't turn up when they say they will!)

OK, a rather traumatic experience at the dentists this morning. I had to have a root canal, had 3 numbing injections and could still feel a great deal of pain. There was nothing to do, but get through it.

Dad had that treatment a few days ago, he was fine...you must be a wimp! ;):D

Well it's toasting here, sitting sweltering!! SUE believe it or not the mountains still have a wee bit of snow on them!

I had a few more quotes in my post but they've disappeared...

Anyhoo, pads will be a wee bit lower than normal this week, paid for a load of stuff in tesco this afternoon which I didn't want to buy (i.e bbq food...I didn't even want the bbq )

Hope its feeling better now. Speaking from experience, better to have a root canal thingy asap and take the pain. If you leave them my lovely (?) dentist told me it can be agony and they end up with no option but to pull the tooth. Well done. Is it stupidly hot in Holland today too?

Danko - enjoy the pizza !! :p *jealous*

Also, re that wicked list, can we have #6 = BEER for me please?

    It's only me again!

Just checked my online banking (I always get too scared to see the OD balance so I don't check) and the Barclaycard b******s have taken £50 out of my account!!  I'm so annoyed after I told them not to bother last month! Raah the tools! Not so wonderful on the finance front with 2 weeks 'til pay day still...

So as there's nothing else I can do about it - Paul, please add an extra £50 to my PAD. Big thanks again to you for les totals :A

I suppose on the bright side it's only £37 of being cleared...

Hiya - still a wimpy £1 pad for me - muchos gracias Paul

Danko - well done again :T

    Andy - the same :T

Sue - Ooops - didn't mean to name-check! Good Luck with it x

Twinkles - sounds like a mare. I remember the awful humidity of living in top floor flats in Big Bad Londinium - don't worry Summer will be over soon ;)

Euronorris - ouch! In my experience - WORSE than LABOUR. It's the most horrific pain I've ever experienced. They put a temp filling in instead of leaving it open and the pressure build up was unbearable! Hope it settles down soon x

Right off to buy my car tax online - seeya!
