  • Paul I will put it in for next friday but the way I read it was brighty247 got paid last Friday and has already made these payments  but I may be wrong and as long as it gets added in somewhere it doesn't really matter - will help to boost my monthly total though :j not in competition or anything :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    DTxx

You could well be right there DT. It could be read either way but I think that your interpretation is probably the right one. As I've let it pass now, you can have it for July (aren't I generous?) :D
I've really enjoyed doing the totalling this past month. I feel more like a part of what is going on now - if you get my drift.
I haven't had too much chance to post other stuff as I've really gone for it at work so I've either been slaving or knackered. Mind you, I don't have any children around my feet. I think that running a household and working for pay is an amazing juggling act even living on my own - so I really do salute you ladies who look after children too (and those of you who don't).

PM or email no probs, its actually very scientific and the doctor who wrote it is a heart specialist who noticed that his patients, who were on government approved diets, were also type 2 diabetics or going that way. So he team up with the nutrition dept at his uni hospital to try to work out why, after an initial weight loss, his patients didn't loose any more weight. I have tried the big UK clubs in the past with the same results, initial loss followed by virtually nothing. It was my first LBM moment, I used to get very upset when people used to say things like "try giving up crisps/biscuits/chocolate/fry ups etc, cos I would deny eating them but no one would believe me. Now I know I am allergic to all wheat products, others that have tried it are allergic to chocolate, wine and bread also. This way if I avoid all wheat product I will lose 2 lbs a week. Last time it only took 1 year but ill health meant I had to eat bread again....................not diet related.......stresss migraines. Not hungry at all, in fact I am eating more.

Good luck with the weigh in

Hi Macgirl, :rotfl::rotfl:mother of starvation diets:rotfl:No I am eating loads

    Breakfast.....................scrambled egg
Mid Morn....................small piece of cheese and 8 cashew nuts
    Lunch...........................large salad......ham/tuna etc
Tea..............................Stirfry and Fish/chicken/(I do cheat and have good sausages!!!)

Well done on resisting the temptation

Last time on the diet my mum tried it, she had been going to WW for the previous year and still lost 6 lbs on the first week, the WW woman asked her she did it and then proceeded to tell her off that she shouldn't cut things like that out!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Sue :hello:
It does make sense and is kind of the "Caveman" diet that some nutritionists think we should be eating..... very interesting.
Before I got married I did the Carol Voderman Detox. It wasn't too bad for me as I don't eat meat anyway, but I realised that I could happily live on just 5 things for the rest of my life (once I had to live without them for a month!)
    1) Bread (crusty and white please!)
    2) Cheese
    3) Coffee
    4) Chocolate (it can be dark and healthy - just a tiny bit a day)
and of course 5) WINE :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I used to read Dr John Briffa in the Sunday paper and he thinks we should avoid wheat products and dairy "Milk is meant for baby cows - not humans". He has a point.

Anyway, sorry all for going off topic - will be back later with my PAD!

    Hi all

£2 for my PAD today. Last one for June. Thanks for doing the totals Paul and good luck for July DT.

Gosh its so sticky and humid today. Will be glad when there is a thunderstorm to clear the air and can get a decent nights sleep but don't like them as the cat gets all nervous with the thunder poor thing.

Hope you all have a good evening - can't believe its hump day tomorrow this week seems to be going quite quickly.

Evening everyone, how are you all? What a pain that your mil didn't turn up after you'd geared yourself up for it angelicmary-grr for you.I'm all hot and bothered as I live in a top floor flat and heat rises. It was like a sauna in our room at 3.30am this morning and that was with the windows thrown open.I feel bad for my toddler as the temp is off the chart, but I'm too scared to leave her bedroom window open as it is just a old wooden frame with no safety features.Petrified she would fall out by accident as she likes to people watch and stand by the window.I've resorted to leaving her bedroom door ajar but her bedroom dr is right next to the front dr so I think daddy may wake her when he gets in from work tonight as she is a rather light sleeper.(Have filled her juice cup up so she doesn't get too dehydrated).Think we may be moving to a 2 double bedroom place if all goes well with pregnancy-This flat has served us well but it is cramped now.Anyway now that I've rabbited on about nothing particularly interesting for you all(lol!)-My pad today is 50p

OK, a rather traumatic experience at the dentists this morning. I had to have a root canal, had 3 numbing injections and could still feel a great deal of pain. There was nothing to do, but get through it.

Hurt like hell, but at least the worst is over and when I called work they told me to stay home (I think mainly because I was crying so much! lol).

Still not great now, but....a lot better than this morning :)

    .

Oh I hate the dentist too, injection never works on me, your post mad me shudder :rotfl:Hope you feeling much much better................and you know waht the dentist means...........................ice cream :T

Twinks I really do sympathise! I have just got the evil sweaty tube home (stupid busy and no seats) and we live in a flat above a COFFEE SHOP so it's like a flipping sauna one its over 25 outside. It does mean we are very MSE with no heating needed in winter I guess...LOL. I was saving nectar points for Thorpe Park but I think they are going to be invested in a fan tomorrow.

Hope everyone is OK ! I have just been to smoking re-hab and very proud that I am now ONE WHOLE MONTH SMOKE FREE !! Woo-hoo. Savings has made a big dent in the Cap1 too on top of regular PADs. Always a few £ in my wallet now which stays there for little spends rather than 10 marlie lights and keeps the bank a/c intact for PADS.
