!!!!!!!?! I was already having a bad day but this made me even more :mad::mad: Where the hell does she get off telling how to run your finances..... just pay the poor man his damn wages!!! A-hole!! Sorry Sue but that really makes me angry :o

Didn't make it in time to post yesterday, but did a £5 PAD yesterday, and have done £5 for today and £5 for tomorrow. So PAD is £15

Feeling a bit blah this morning, I'm supposed to be going on a friends hennight tonight, but OH came home last night having fallen on his back and was in agony. He is asleep now, but kept me awake most of the night with his wailing, so not only am I cream-crackered, and worried about how he is (he couldn't decide whether he wanted to go to the hospital or not!), I don't know if I'll be going tonight because he'll be looking after DS (we're suposed to be leaving at 1500)..... first proper night out in years and this happens - arrrggghhhh!

Can totally relate to this as we are self-employed - with only one real customer & every month we have this situation. We're already paid 6 weeks in arrears & they string it out as long as humanly possible to make it even later. We are currently waiting for April's money......should have been paid 15th June & no cheque today , no Bacs no nothing. I feel like asking them how they'd cope if they had no idea when their wages would arrive, not on a set day each month but any old time. If we get a cheque Monday it will then take 3/4 days to clear:eek::eek:. Yes, we should have savings to cover our bills - & I do have a pot now for that, but all the merry go round of transfers & rushing to the bank is very wearing, yes we shouldn't be in debt yada yada yada but that's why we're trying to get out of it:D

Anyhow, vent over - thanks for that:T

Got home late & forums were down so couldn't PAD yesterday: so PAD yesterday was £304.48 to Evil Egg & today is £250 to friend, making total of £554.48 :j

    Hi all,

I just tried posting a very similar message to this, but there was some sort of problem so I don't think it went through. If I've managed to post twice, sorry for clogging up the thread!

OK, so I don't have much money for PADs given that I am currently between jobs and living off the money I got paid at the end of my last job until the next one comes around, but I still seem to be able to but a small bottle of coke and a bar of chocolate most days. So I am going to divert the money from the already non-existant coke/choc fund to paying it off my CC. It's not much, but I'm sure it will all help. The demotivator has already made it clear how much I am wasting! :s

So last night (when I first read this thread but couldn't post as the forum was being spring cleaned) I really, really, really wanted a chocolate bar, but I didn't go to the shop and buy one. That's 50p off my CC. That's +£ and - lbs! :)

Given my empoyment status at the minute, I'm not sure if I can afford to make a payment every single day, but I'll try.

Hi Sarah, know what you mean I am livid, its not the first time they have paid him late and twice he has turned up with a cheque..........no warning:mad::mad: OH was all for telling them where to stuff the job. I can only describe their attitude as cavalier, what's your problem. We have lived in tied housing for years and I thought old type farmers were bad but these take the biscuit. I wouldn't care I am supposed to phone to pay for a table at a bear fair today, as well, hence the shuffle with 2 lots of funds........................god knows waht the bank will think!!!!

Hope your OH is ok, mine has suffered bad back for years and its not nice. Don't they wail though :rotfl:loved that one. If you don't have any muscle rub..............vick is supposed to be a good subsitute, so I am told, maybe the eucalyptus just knocks 'em out!!!!;)

Hi Sasha, what a bummer, thats really bad, its a shame you can't increase your customer base, so that you can occasionally tell them you are too busy sometimes, that would keep them on their toes.
As for savings etc...........in my mind you shouldn't have savings to cover wages !!!!It's for emergencies...............aren't some peep's sh*t. Cross fingers they pay up soon :j I have a flippin headache today after all the shenanegans yesterday and it's a bit hard when you are trying to finish a bear for a wedding..............I feel like going up there with the bear and saying "here you bl**dy well finish this for me, as I am worn out with your c**p"

Don't it feel good to have a rant :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
