Cant see why you couldn't hand write it. Perhaps mention that the reason for the hand written letter is because you have no money for ink and that their pestering is making the matter worse!
Personally I send everything recorded, so they cant say that they never received it when they really did. No names mentioned!!! (Coughs Lloyds under his breath!!!:D)

And perhaps print your name rather than sign it...DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -

Not posted for a while as it's all gone quiet... well apart from Lloyds TSB leaving me messages on my landline... but did pick up to them last night and told the lady i'm not giving her my details as she called me and signposted her to CCCS... she went all quiet and thanked me for my time :rotfl: not had one yet today....

Hi,
Has anyone else had their offers rejected after being on DMP for over 2 years?. We have been with Payplan for over 2 years, and have reduced our debt from £74k to £33, we have about 22 months to go. Now, after our yearly review, and our new financial statements, including increased offers, have been sent to our creditors. 3 of them have rejected their offer. We are now paying over th minimum payments?.. has anyone got any experience of this happening, and if so what happens next?
Thanks for any help.

Elsie,
I'm into year 3 of DMP. Apart from Lloyds who have never stopped interest (I have loan, credit card and overdraft) with them all others still not applying interest, Egg, Cahoot, MBNA, N/Rock, Abbey.
Was with fee paying DMC and have gone on my own from 1st April, all have accepted but have been told by Cahoot that they do not accept self-managed debt management, but he did give me the account number and sort code to pay. I asked if they would not accept payments, he said that they would accept payment, but would be be insisting that I contact a third party, couldn't get the guy to see logic, what the blo&dy difference, you're still get paid, in fact getting more and you still want me to deal with a third party, these people are crazy....:mad:. Glad my balance is less than £4K now and asked about a F&F (not that I have any money to pay them...but), he said that they do accept F&F of the full amount, but if they go with less then this will show on credit reference as partial payment I think as I'll not be playing ball, by not going via a third party they might start adding interest to this account, also thinking as MBNA, Abbey are also under the Santander logo they will also add interest to these.
Sorry does not answer any of your question, but wishing you all the best with this.

I just keep paying. Every now and then i see on the justabank website that they have rejected the payment, but a month or so later, it's been accepted. Unless I hear from them demanding this that or the other, I just keep on as normal.DFD February 2012

Thanks MM2.
We also have Cahoot, and they stopped interest almost from the very beginning. I now cannot access the account online, which I gather quite a few people are also saying the same. I just hope now that Santander have taken over, that they do not review everything and start the interest charges again.

Sorry I have a question although we haven't been able to set up our dmp yet. Please tell me if I should post this on the main forum?
We can't set up our dmp quite yet as we are waiting to hear if we can have our council tax for this year waived as OH is having to disolve his company. At the moment he is paying himself simply nothing as there is no money left over.
OH has a credit card with Santander that has now been referred to a DCA. He wrote to them last month with a letter explaining financial hardships and offering a token payment of £1 (which they have cashed). He spoke to one of their agents who said they would be writing to him.
Today he rec'd a letter telling him to pay the full amount within 7 days or to contact them by telephone. If he doesn't ring them they will start legal procedding etc etc. What should we do next?
I am tempted to write to them again and refer to our previous letter and explain that setting up a dmp takes time and ask them to allow more time?
Or maybe I should ask him to ring the DCA and explain?
I think this is going to be the difficult bit - trying to get these people to hold off whilst we set up the dmp. Does anyone have any experience of Santander or their DCA?
Thank you

Hi Dizzy
I've been on my DMP since July of last year. I had a similar letter from Santander over the weekend, demanding the remainder of the outstanding balance of my kitchen loan within 14 days or they'll take legal action. I noticed also at the top of this that it's actually a default notice, that they're just acknowledging that I've missed payments which is quite normal under the credit act.. so I phoned them and they said something about the transfer from Alliance and Leicester to Santander and that they'd not received any paperwork... so my suggestion to you would be give them a call, explain you're on a DMP which is just about to start.. give them a reference number to go on and ensure all paperwork from whoever administers your DMP goes to their collections department in Hull (po box 476, HU9 9EU).. they seem to be dubious of third parties i.e debt management companies unless they have it in triplicate... she's told me to disregard the original threatening letter..
hope this helps..
