    I'm back!

It took me 73 mins and 45 secs and my legs are killing me! All I did was walk it, I think I could do with getting a bit more fit. Could someone help me find a good runclub around Bath? I want to run it next year.

I've cancelled the mystery shop I was going to do tonight and I'm going to take some paracetamol and relax for the rest of the night. It was good run though, I'll definitely be doing it again. Thanks guys, I would never have thought to do anything like that without you lot doing them as well.

    Well done :D

Just google 'run clubs' and bath and see what comes up - they usually have good websites - they'll tell you what kind of members they take and if they do begginners stuff but tbh run clubs are better for more experienced runners as most club runs are 4 miles - I'm not in one for instace - I just used advice from the run thread to get started (and its free :D)

Sadly there's no parkrun near you either - free weekly 5k runs - but it might worth keeping an eye out to see if one appears (they are starting up loads of events atm):

Well, DH and I are sitting in the living room, both on our laptops and DD comes into the room waving about my 'flexible friend' (which, btw, DH didn't know I OWN!) asking 'what's this mommy??'

OMFG! I was speechless and then started howling with laughter! I must have gone 3 or 4 shades of red...

DH then tell her 'it's something to play with cats or puss ies with'

    Oh dear...

Try the "it's a shiatsu muscle relaxor" line next time... ;)
