Thankyou for your help Shoe. I have spoken to them again, and explained that i was worried about handing in my notice and wanted to know what the compromise would be with the new house. I was told it could be that the landlord wanted us to move in a couple of weeks early. I explained that a extra two weeks rent is a lot of money to pay. They spoke to the landlord for the new house who has said he would wait till our notice was up on the house we are in now before we moved in to his house. So thats good.

They said that to bring the notice in tomorrow and would put on system, notice pending, if references came back ok. They said that they didn't think there woudl be a problem with us getting the new house.

How can they be so sure of this through?

yes, you'll be somewhere cramped for a bit - but you'll have somewhere to sleep...

I did end up giving notice after they said that i would be able to take it back.

It has come that we need gaurantors and i have one, but we are waiting to see if my fiance mum will be one, if she says no then don't know what happens then. I asked my fiance if i should ring them and ask but he says not to.

Instead of ringing his mum first to ask her the just sent the forms down and now she has them and now we are waiting. Why he couldn't have asked her first i don't know.
