  • Thank you for your advice. I have reported back to him, and this is the reply he was given when he asked

Will this affect my Credit File?
No, although we strongly advise you to continue making your agreed payments to your Lender whilst your claim is being investigated. As your agreement is in dispute, the lender is not permitted to put anything negative against your name by law. Your solicitor will inform you when to cease payments as the credit agreement is deemed unenforceable.

Is this true? How can I check it out?

Ultimately, only a court can determine whether a debt is unenforceable.

If you default on a credit agreement, you must expect a default to be registered.
  • Has anyone heard of a company attached to Highbridge financial services London.

In line with some new legislation....

They promise to take over you credit card debt in a debt transfer process for a fee of 20% of the outstanding balance.

Provided that the card is pre 2007 and there are no ccj's or bankruptcy pending?

Too good to be true ????

    It's a scam

OFT warned about this back in 2009.

  • I've just had Infinity Compensation on the phone promising to clear all credits cards and not to charge me for this. Doesn't seem possible., they are very persistent.

Has anyone had dealings with Consortium Reclaim please!!??

After Bank Smart let me down regarding an unenforceable agreement, I saw this company's website and wondered if anyone had information on them!!

I've had to report Bank Smart to Claims Management Regulation at the Ministry of Justice!!

Leave these scammers alone for goodness sake.

Did you not learn the first time?

Sorry to be blunt, but these companies are an utter waste of your time and money.
