Hi

With respect to most of these, you will find the information needed to do this on this web-site, free of charge and it costs a very small amount per account to check them yourself, £1 for some accounts, £10 for others. Do not pay fee charging comapnies for something you can do for almosy nothing here.

There was a thread on here about them before - basically at best they will charge you for stuff you can do for very little cost yourself and at worst they will fleece you of more money.
I think the OFT have warned people to be careful of these types of companies.

Hi all

I just had a phone call from Tucan Claims asking if I had any debt taken out before 2007 - they can claim back any money paid on unenforceable agreements etc....

Just wondered if any here has dealt with them before and what their experience was like?

Gut feeling is do not touch with a large pole. They will charge you for investigations you could carry out yourself with help from the clever peeps on this site

Anything they can do, you can do yourselve. It is just about using a loophole in CCA agreements, where as if the creditor does not have the proper paperwork they cannot enforce it. The debt still exists its just the creditor cannot take you to court to actually get the money from you.
As to reclaiming money, such as PPI, once again you can do this yourself just read up on Reclaim £1,000s

Has anyone heard of a company called Credit BLitz & if so has your claim to clear the debt on your credit card been successful.
I started the claim process back in March 2009 & paid Credit BLitz £500 because they said HSBC were inbreach of my contract. I'm now getting letters from a litigator saying that it's going to go to court & if I lose I could end up paying HSBC court fees plus my own when Credit Blitz originally said it was a no win no fee claim.

What can I do? Should I let them proceed with my claim & take the risk that I could end up with a big bill ontop of my credit card or cut my losses & end it now.

ok guys /girls i have been taken in by one of these so called clear you debts cca soiliters{hit me i know } who are changling my 3 credit cards i have,i have paid about 875 in all still need to pay another 700,,i am am going into a dmp,now i what to clear my debts the decent way and forget about going down the cca route can i just phone my soiliters up and tell them i am pulling out with these cases--thanks for your help
