Best upgrade phone on O2 to sell...

I'm due to upgrade on O2 and currently pay £25 for 1000 mins, 1000 txts (I think)

I did want an iPhone but could do witht he money from selling a phone. So would like to get the best re-sellable phone from them.

Any suggestions on what I should try and go for?

i just got the samsung tocco ultra and sold it for £250.

Was that for a new contract or renewal? I've heard it's next to impossible to get one of them.

it was an upgrade with carphone warehouse on O2. He was realy selling it to me , i didn't actaully ask for it. I , like you, wanted an iphone but don't want to pay £35 a month so I got the tocco as it was new and high value , negotiated 400 mins , unlimited texts , free web bolt on and £50 cashback for £25 over 24 months. I bought a secnd hand iphone for £165 on ebay use that instead. Cheapest way round it.

This was only beginning of last week.

So the web bolt on works with the iPhone? So you got the Tocco AND Cashback? That's pretty good.

ye , i went though to retentions as i said i was gonna cancel. I was on the phone a while and kept hesitating to see what else i could get! lol!

ye , the web bolt on works with the iphone just need to keep an eye on usage as it's a 200mb limit and that could be run up fairly easy. Although i mainly use it for ebay,facebook and hotmail thats it really so it'll be plenty for me.

The only thing you can't use is the wifi , that would normally be free on the official iphone tariff , cloud i think it's called , the one you can pick up in mcdonalds and starbucks etc. You can't connect to your wifi at home or work though and it's free that way.

Think I'll try that then. I was suprised they offered me the iPhone without a new credit check. I thought I'd have to start a new contract (which I wouldn't get).

They do start a new contract but it's more just a tie in time so they get their monies worth from you having a new handset. They don't do another check on you.

They'll probably be quite happy to get you to take an iphone... there's a new model iphone due in July and so they will want to shift the stock of the current ones they have

Well I called and asked for my PAC code and didn't get offered anything! Told them I want to get the Tocco Ultra on Orange as I'd have to pay for it on a O2 contract.

They said they'd send me a txt with my PAC code. The lady said the Tocco Ultra was too much of a High Spec phone.

Wonder if they'll call me? Been with O2 for almost 5 years now.

I had the same yesterday and they did not give me a better offer I have also been with 02 for 5 years or more.
