Prizes galore with water efficiency campaign

A free lifestyle magazine containing tips and advice will be available in selected B&Q stores from May 19 for a fortnight.

The publication, called Summer fun, is being provided by 16 UK water companies, including those at the forefront of combating the serious two-year drought, and in conjunction with national body Waterwise and B&Q. Around 450,000 magazines are to be distributed from over 150 stores.

And there are some great prizes – city hotel breaks, health club memberships and B & Q vouchers – to be won exclusively by customers of the participating water companies.

The prizes can be won as part of a draw in which customers fill in and return a questionnaire which seeks to find out their views and knowledge about water use. In addition, all readers have the chance to try out a Cannons Health Club for a weekend simply by clipping out a coupon.

Water companies are: Southern Water, Thames Water, South East Water, Three Valleys Water, Mid Kent Water, Portsmouth Water, Sutton & East Surrey Water, Folkestone & Dover Water Services Ltd.

Picked this up yesterday as I was in B & Q - the prizes are -

5 x city weekend breaks with Novotel hotels ( including 2 kids under 16 sharing room if you have kids ) & breakfast

16 x 2 month cannons gym memberships

3 x £100 B & Q vouchers - in June,july & August ( prizes of £100 B & Q vouchers will be awarded to 3 monthly draw winners during June, July,August living in the supply areas of each 16 water companies taking part in this promotion. With £4800 worth in total, youve a great chance of winning. )

I read this as each month of June/July/August they will draw 3 winners from each region who will each get a £100 B&Q voucher
