so dont think theres a massive recycling potential in them. the are biodegradable.
The Scottish rubber band procurement process must be separate from that South of the Border. You can all test the truth of this from the rubber bands you have collected.0 -
I put them back in the postbox along with the other bits of mail that is frequently disgarded on the floor.0

This has actually been quite a big news article in the past with newspapers & tv covering the story. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article716493.ece
I like to think of the free rubber bands I pick up as a big bonus, especially since having to stop work due to my health I now have to buy such things as rubber bands & paper clips. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I know this is a moneysaving website, but how much are you saving on your rubber band budget?0 -

My daughter picks them up on the way to and from school. I get the occasional one outside my front door too! :eek:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170

i reuse my bands
once removed they go in my shirt pocket, end of the day they go back to the office
I hope you remove them. My husband used to do that but kept putting the shirts in the wash with the rubber bands in the pocket. I've lost count of how many times they jammed the washing machine filter mid cycle . He's off deliveries now though, so no more rubber bands
Here I go again on my own....0
