Taye I've only just seen this. You are doing a great job and you're a great mum. I was a single parent for 6 years and it was very difficult and I did get maintenance. I ended up having to go br. You are doing really well and although it seems hard now you will look back and see how much you have achieved. Hang in there and you'll get through this.
Sorry nothing constructive to say but keep going and we're all rooting for you and will give as much support as we can

    Hiya,

Im almost 21 and when I was younger (obviously not that long ago) my mum was so skint. We wanted for nothing though. She worked so much and worked out ways to feed us and keep us in school clothes. Hand me downs were heaven sent for my mum although she fobbed them off as new to me and my brother and I couldnt have cared less because I was more concerned in playing that what I was wearing. Having a happy fun mum is what I remember although I know now that she was skint and barely got anything for herself for years. You can totally do this and youll feel so proud of yourself when your sorted out ! x

    Hi

I don't know too much about it, but are there any grants you could get to do up the house and/or improve the insulation. I don't know too much about it, except I'm not eligible, but maybe somebody else on here might know a bit more and be able to point you in the right direction. Might help you feel better about your home, improve the value of it and reduce your energy bills.
