Using the Joe graph I can only just about make out 1992 and there were no dramatic falls after that  The others if they are there, they are hidden, not like your chart.

Thought it was just my eyes! There's possibly a 1 pixel sized bulltrap on there apart from the 92 one, but until someone lends me Hubble so I can zoom in far enough I'll have to take GD's word for it.

ONLY if it had a timeline on it. Which you have told us all very often, it does not.

    Can't have it all ways.

I really am eye wateringly bored with the illustration arguing. It's becoming pathetic in all honesty. One minute theres no timeline so its wrong, the next you want to paste a point in time on it to say its wrong.

Seriously guys. Take stock. If it's wrong, explain why. But don't say its wrong one way and then use why you said it was wrong the first time to say its wrong again. You'll notice it also has no indicator of the prices on the vertical axis, though thats not stopped anyone taking the vertical axis as godsend.

It's an indicator, that is all. Over and out.

seriously though, does anyone really believe that house prices have stopped falling and people should be rushing to buy a house?

I'm sorry but I just can't see prices recovering for years and years, despit some small blips along the way.

Did you expect them to treble in the first place?

They didn't treble over 12 - 14 months, it was a sustained climb. Twelve years of growth followed by just 14 months of falls? I seriously doubt it.

10% is quite a lot, as it has been around 0 for the first 5 months. You will be needing around 1.4% drop for the next seven months.
