 You've been in this much pain and you haven't been to the Dr's before...naughty naughty spud. I am glad that you have now made an appt misses! Have you taken some ibuprofen today? Sorry you feel meh...mwahxx

It's not an agonising kind of pain, just a constant ache, then a sharper pain when I walk or move. Not got any ibuprofen. Cany I buy over the counter?

And is this sharper pain when you move what we would call "An agonising kind of pain"?

Yes you can - but don't mix it with aspirin and take it with food as it is hard on the stomach.

Spud how far away is your nearest shop? You can generally buy cheap ibuprofen from a corner shop if not most places will have nurofen. Get yourself down there now you can't be in constant pain

Yes you can. About 29p in Wilkos etc. Iboprofen is the generic (?) name for stuff like neurofen which is a lot more expensive.

ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory so might resolve the problem as well as deal with the pain, you can take regular dose paracetamol alongside them if it doesn't touch all the pain for you....
