Yeah he's right; blackberry bolt on is different from web bolt on. You can browse the web with push e-mails when you have the blackberry bolt on, however you can not browse the web with this tarrif unless it's on a blackberry device.
If you have web bolt on you can't have blackberry service and push e-mail.According to O2 they are not compatible. You need to pay for Blackberry bolt on.
    Hope it helps.

    No he isn't right.

Phone back and tell then you need to change your free of charge bolt-on to the Blackberry Bolt-On.

More than likely it is that you have got it from CPW and because contract customer services don't know retail processes they wont know that you can change it.

If you don't get anywhere go to CPW and get them to phone retail support to have it changed.

I did the same except it was free o2 to o2 to blackberry about 3/4months ago
my contract was originally though o2 retail, got a blackberry later on (not from o2)
Got my blackberry bolt on free - they've kept my o2 to o2 free aswell but think that was a mistake on their part
maybe because of their policy changes re bolt ons (big thread on it somewhere)

He's still wrong, like I said because it is a store process they seem to think third party stores can only give unlimited texts as the free bolt-on, it seems they dont check the spreadsheets often. You can have the bolt-on changed, it will be a heck of a lot easier to go to store and get it changed, to get them to contact retail support and they will have it done within 24 hours.

The only thing that should affect you changing your FOC bolt-on is if you have changed it within the last 90 days.

Or if O2 themselves change it by error which has happen to us hence found out yest that the 3 month has started yet again today, so we are very seriously in the process of moving all 10 phones over to either Vodafone / Orange now.
