Apparently tonights episode is from the "other side of life" with a how shall we say, unconventional couple from Aberdeen changing a perfectly normal semi into what looks like a bordello. Dr. Hamish and 'Mitchy'. his bride to be, are convinced that sex sells.
Sarah does her best to dissuade them, by meeting a seemingly endless parade of dour unimpressed Scotsmen, but the couple persist. According to Mad McTavish (oh yes, it's him), the property market in Aberdeen cannot crash, and with his nous and Mitchy's talent for interior design they are set to make a wee fortune.
Let's see.

But don't you find its the idiots who happily go along stumbling from one semi-success to another? Whereas those [of us] with a modicum of intelligence can't help but be put off at the outset when [we] methodically reason through the pitfalls and decide the risk is too high?
As a single income household of limited means I have never dared speculate with money... I've speculated with my time (and crashed and burned).
I can always see the "but what if" side .... It is planning and contingency planning and risk management that hold me back - too risky. I have no Gung Ho in my arsenal of skills.0 -

Their plight did very little to assuage my hairbrained whims though and I just emailed Mr. P a link to this near us. To which I received the following; "STOP LOOKING AT RIGHTMOVE OR I'LL BLOCK IT FROM YOUR PC"
LOL!
At t'other end of the M42 from me. We'll help. Make a start, change your mind, rip the entire roof off, run out of money. Earn some more money to do it and after eighteen months later you might finally get a house out of it! :wall:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Haha Dooz, how funny, I thought of you and your latest Des Res when I saw that barn!
One day you're going to regret being so polite to me when Mr. P and I finally do find our pigshed in the National Forest and I'm sending you messages at all hours picking your brains about underfloor heating suppliers....0
