you make that sound like falling off a log but to turn that sort of profit does require some capabilities. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

The better half reckons she's got a sideline in surrogacy. Wouldn't surprise me.
Beeney's a savvy businesswoman - successful property developer, got her dating site up and running pre-crash (saw it coming and knew she'd be off the telly for a bit?), property snakes and ladders show now on tv while Phil and Krusty are still in hiding...
Would it surprise you to find out she was also in the babyfactory business? Maybe she sells the sprogs on to Madonna or something?
She has 3 children. Bear in mind that each series is shot over a period of several years. People look at yesterday's programme and think" ooh, she's pregnant again!" But that was shot over a year ago and is the same pregnancy that was seen on last years series. It's always like that on Property (Snakes and) Ladder(s), the series jumps through time, and there are huge over-runs.
One pregnancy will always be seen over two series, because while they are filming the later stages of series 1 they are also filming the beginning stages of series 2. And there are many episodes which they plan to have on a particular series end up shown the following year as the development takes 5 times longer than intended, so one pregnancy is seen over the course of 3 series. So she's had 3 pregnancies over the course of 7 years which have appeared at times on each series. It's no great mystery.;)0 -
would you trust your partner to take a financial risk though? a lot of people let their partner destroy them financially and then the partner doesn't even stay around. at least your kids are always your kids.
hadn't that girl already made 100k from developing one house so it wasn't all her mum's money. and the bloke was putting up half the money for the other property (so he was bankrolling his parents as much as vice versa).
i think the bank of mum and dad thing was editorially emphasised (twisted?) for effect. i can spot tv spin a mile off as i do it myself.
It depends on the risk. if he wanted to put a tenner on the horses that's one thing - if he wanted to sink every thing we had into something - that's entirely different. I'm a firm believer in one person having both feet firmly on the ground.
I understood she did up her mother's house and sold it to fund the "project" - I could be wrong though. If that's what she did it's not as though she had actually done anything herself - we will tart our house up a bit to sell it - the only risk is that we might not sell it.0
