Ive never been a big ice cream/ ice lolly person until I started reading this thread when I had no appetite with morning sickness but now its like a nightly ritual! I figured if they appealed to so many other pregnant women it wouldnt harm to try one and now im addicted :rotfl:

I have a really sweet tooth...so am finding it a bit of a trial. I sometimes sit and daydream about what cakes I am going to have from the patisserie once he is born (hmm...chocolate or raspberries?...or maybe both?)...and look forward to cote d'or milk chocolate mignonettes which are just the best (although very hard to stop eating because they are so thin, so it doesn't feel like you have had that much...until you start feeling a bit sick :o)

    Debt-free and Proud!
I have just had a hormonal emotional moment!

I ordered my cot from Boots along with a mattress and bouncy chair, in the 20 per cent off sale and ordered later than I wanted cos the blooming in-laws wouldn;t decide what they wanted to get and whether they wanted to order themselves or not.

Now I just had an email saying they don;t have stock any more and it isn't coming!

    :(

They are still delivering the mattress and chair but I have to wait in all day for the delivery and have now found a cheaper mattress!

boots don't know when they will get more stock and it will be back up to £225 when they do, John Lewis have it in stock but it's £229, and BabyPLanet expect it to be in stock in 7-10 days and it is £184.

We paid £180 in the Boots sale.

I don;t know what to do - if we order from John Lewis as both OH's parents are out of work we owuld probably have to pay the extra which I don;t mind per se but I'm furious that this has happened because of their dithering. It would mean we get it quick, but if I order from BabyPlanet then it's cheaper but we have to wait two weeks and that takes me quite close to my due date (a month away).

I burst into tears cos I feel I am doing everything on my own and there is only seven weeks left and no-one except me seems to care if stuff gets ordered and delivered.

OH isn;t even doing his share of the housework any more unless I really nag :(

Don;t need this on top of worry about baby not growing properly. THank goodness Mw is coming at 3 and I can talk to her about it.

Can i have some dodgy hugs please?

Skintchick, I'm sorry it's all a bit much at the moment...here's a dodgy hug from me :grouphug:. Hopefully the MW will be able to set your mind at rest. People keep telling me that I don't look like I am as pregnant as I am and I know from scans that he is quite a small baby, but he moves around loads, so that's a good sign. I guess that some of us have to be smaller than the average, but everything is still okay....hope this has helped a bit.

Hugs Skinty. Go for the cheaper option, mine is arriving today as I waited because internet was so much cheaper and I'm 36wks tomorrow! XXX

BTW, DD2 was 5.5lbs and they worried so much as DD1 was nearly 8lb. She's just little, at 19 she still is, her sis is soo much taller. We weren't all meant to be the same!!!
Too many children, too little time!!!
