Have proper fell out with OH.
I hardlly ever and go out. Life consists of work / asda / school run.
But next Sunday is Take That, and i am most definately going. I reminded OH of this yesterday.
This morning i rang him to let him know that i would be going to a Body shop at home party on Saturday night. He grunted and put the phone down.

Five minutes later - Lovely text saying "I suppose you are going to be taking care of your appearance now over the next few weeks seeing as you are doing things that don't involve me".

Cue mmediate retaliation text with lots of F words in it from me and telling him to stick things up his backside.

    1. He is always going out drinking, football, cricket any excuse. (when not ill that is)
    2. If and when i go out anywhere, there is always a comment how i make an effort when i go out with my friends.
    3. He never takes me out ANYWHERE. I asked for him to take me to the pictures way back on my birthday in Feb. He refused.
    4. What the hell am i supposed to do. Get dressed up to the nines to do the flippin ironing!!

Have had a few texts from him apologising, but i'm not having it. I'm at work and he's at home sat on his ever expanding fat bottom. I'm well peed off with him being nasty to me and then blaming it on the steroids. When i know he is more than capable of being a "T"word without the aid of medication. And i refuse to give in to pregnant, emotional tears that have threatened all day.

And to top it all off, i am off to see the Nurse after work, because i have major itching and swelling going on down there. Have had it for about a week, tried two different creams, but they have not worked. So have bitten to bullet and am seeking medical help.

So, so, not in a good mood today. And can't wait to go home. Not!:mad::mad:

its not safe to assume that just because people don't answer questions in the first class, or ask questions about the delivery itself, that they haven't read anything or aren't clued up at all.

I think with my class that it was more that the participants responded to most questions with a shrug or saying 'dunno' (example: midwife says 'ok, give me some signs that might make you think you are starting labour'... everyone else: 'dunno really/can you feel the babies head coming out?'). The ones in my classes really didn't know anything, rather than just being shy to speak up, this was evident from the answers they did give (or from the shrugging), instead of just not giving an answer at all.

I think I was just in an unfortunate group - most others seem to be fine, with a mix of people. But yes definitely don't write them off altogether, the more practical things are worth attending for and also discussions with the midwife on real-life births etc were good.

Workinmummy, My OH is always miffed that I make more effort for work than I do at the weekend. But it shouldn't matter, I mean, he's the only one who gets to see me naked so he shouldn't complain!

WM - I think there is something in the air that is affecting lots of OH - turning them into idiots!!! Hubby knows I make an effort it we go or if I go out with the girls, but he doesn't seem to mind if I don't bother when just at home. Maybe you need to remind him that he needs to give you a reason to make an effort, then make sure you Take That etc looking stunning, just to pee him off!!!!
