xmas: You need to ring the customer service number 08456403030 and reserve cat number 376/3052. Apparently it says it's a bouncer but if you pay at the self service tills the picture is the swing.

I really hate people like that, there is no need for the rudeness, and so what if Phillip was raising a white child (zoe) anyway

i know its the "poor philip" like im constantly getting pregnant by other people and making him raise them ... o dont worry she wont get away with it philip is !!!!!! he was gonna march in to work and rip into her but i told him to calm down x

Aless - I was thinking the same thing re: visas and such. Honestly, I'd been here for 4 years, already had my gallbladder, appendix out plus had baby in hospital, then when I had to stay for 2 wks due to acute diverticulitis last summer, their "international patients" office person came to see me in hospital, telling me they needed a copy of my marriage certificate to prove I was eligible to receive free NHS treatment (cuz I'd have that in the hospital, right? sigh). She got a bit snippy when I pointed out that just being married to a British citizen didn't mean I was eligible for NHS treatment, but that it was down to my visa, which I'd be happy to send her a copy of. Although I did question why it was NOW an issue after 4 yrs of treatment, and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "not sure." They sent me a bill, then I sent in the copy of the marriage certificate and they cancelled the bill. What a bunch of nonsense.

    Hi everyone,
This is just a quick post to let you know that little Hugh was born on the 8th June at 12:58 (lunchtime) by a normal delivery. He was two and a half weeks early and weighed just under 2.5kg (about 5.5 lb?). Labour was a bit weird (further explanation when I get around to doing the birth story) and lasted 23 hours, because it all stopped and had to be restarted! The delivery stage was very quick and easy.

We were allowed home last Friday and the current aim is to try and get him to put on a bit more weight, so I am feeding him every two to three hours. He is very cute and has a range of adorable little noises!

I haven't been reading the thread, so don't know what else has happened yet...will try to catch up later, but congratulations to anyone else who has their baby too and labour vibes to those that need them.
