Back from midwife appt, everything seems fine (BP, urine etc), only 2/5ths palpable now and she said what I described to her was early labour, however it's been going on for days. She doesn't think it will be much longer but seeing as it was due today, I'm sure she WOULD say that lol!

Sweep booked for next Thurs and induction for 22nd, hopefully won't get that far.

    Glad appointment went ok Honey.

MM, nothing planned, MW said the only thing for the pain is rest so I'm on the bed again. Pelvic pain when I move is very bad but he ho, not much longer! Like you I'm not sleeping, about 5 hours last night so not too bad. Can't get to sleep as I can't get my legs comfy and feel too hot!

I think the only reason that my MW sent me to the physio is because I have had back problems since Jas was born and she thought it may be the same problem, and thats when they found out I was lop sided :)

But even still, not alot can be done when I'm pregnant, most of it will be done after bubs is born.

We will just have to make do with moaning to each other !!!

Moan away. I have one leg shorter than the other due to back problem after DD2. Without realising I had been walking using one side more than the other, hence one side tensing up. Been much better since using an Osteopath.

I found out I was lopsided after years of being 'looked into' and everyone insisting there's nothing wrong, and that the pain I was in for years with my back and knees was 'nothing'. Then one day, very shortly after another round of x-rays and scans which produced nothing, I had a wedding dress fitting and the seamstress said to me "do you know your hips are higher on one side?" I said no, nothing had ever been mentioned to me. So I went back to GP, who referred me to a different chiropractor than normal, who confirmed yes that is the problem as one of my legs is slightly shorter than the other and at last I could begin treatment on the actual problem.

I was of course grateful that it was diagnosed at last but so so mad that it had been missed for years by so many different people, leaving me in pretty much constant pain all that time.

    We're all wonky together!

Oddly enough, osteopaths didn't help me much for the same problem, but chiropractor worked wonders!

I like being wonky. I also have 2 extra bones that join my spine to my pelvis, a back-to-front and tilted womb and had a twisted food pipe for the 1st year of my life. Happy to be different!

Mrs M seemed ok about it last night, fingers crossed she goes a little longer! X
