We are having birth partner discussions here. MW questioned today what OH was like with stuff like that as he looked so on edge on Friday. He's upset that she asked but I've just pointed out that he wasn't very good last time. Now he's sulking!Too many children, too little time!!!0

I am finally back home and am shattered. Baby is alive and kicking, infact it wouldn't stop moving so much so we didn't get a very clear pic.
My heart was in my mouth and i feared the worst as she took ages and ages and didn't turn the monitor, she couldn't find the baby at first then she couldn't find the heartbeat. Dh could see the screen and he couldn't see it either he wouldn't look at me when i turned to him for a reassuring glance. She went and fetched another lady and it turns out the first lady was a trainee. The second lady pressed so hard it was really sore and i was holding dh's hand v tight. But at least she found it straight the way:j all ok but got to have a few more scans as they said ds didn't grow well which was news to me.
So the date, Aless02 are we swapping our edd's for each others then. Because i am a little further along than they thought and my EDD is now the same as yours 19th dec but yours will change now won't it as your a week behind now. I didn't want to loose my xmas smilee never mind brings me a bit away from the bottom.
Thanks everyone to putting up with me when i was stressed out. This is my signature!0 -
tara, my OH is the most squimish person I know when it comes to people, ask him to butcher a pig and hes straight in there !!
When I was taken in for the section last time, I told him he didnt have to come in if he didnt want to but he said he would just not look and ended up staring at the whole thing telling me he could see my insides !!!The two best things I have done with my life

Just had a random thought. I've heard that babies can fall asleep breastfeeding. If this happens do I then need to wake the little one up to burp him, as I don't want him choaking if I put him to sleep in the cot and he's then sick a bit later?

Bear, they tend not to wake even when you burp them, sort of just wobble from side to side. I always found it easier on my shoulder.Too many children, too little time!!!0

I know a lot of people who do waake them up bear, I never did. All babies tend to fall asleep feeding, bottle and breast, easiest thing is when you se them getting sleepy, burp them and then let them finish feeding !!The two best things I have done with my life
