nancmat, I went to Rome for a long weekend when I was about 30 weeks. I had the most fantastic time even though I was dreading it as I thought I would be really uncomfy. It wasnt too warm when we went and I dont think I could have dealt with anything too hot. I just didnt push myself to do anything. We got up late had a wander about, sat in a cafe and had a break, did some more wandering then had naps at the hotel in the afternoon before going out for a long dinner in the evening. It was absolutely perfect and I really appreciated the time that I spent with hubby as it was the last chance for it to be just the two of us on holiday.
I also felt that it gave hubby time to bond with the baby because he was with me all the time and I could tell him what her movements were and talk about all our plans without interruption. I also have some bump pics in Rome which I can show her when she's older!
I would thoroughly recommend a long weekend away if you can!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
