my sister is 9 and I am amazed at the things she could do when she was younger - including getting on Cbeebies on the internet!!

Didn't think you would, she sounds like Erin. I walked in last week and she was trying to open a parcel I'd had delivered. Said 'I can't get this open'. It was addressed to me, I sent her to her room after a lecture on it being completely wrong to touch my things.

Elastigirl, glad your scan went ok, but they shouldn't let trainees do the scan alone, if it were me I would have been in tears when she couldn't find bubs.

Tara, you seem to have really good baby advice - is it all just from experience or can you recommend any good books?

We have a TV in our room for the playstation and she is allowed to play it if one of us sets it up for her and she asks in advance !!
Well I was sitting here the other night and heard an almighty bang, Ran (well waddled) upstairs and found all of the stuff on the floor with her just sitting on the edge of the bed saying it wasnt her fault !!
She said she knew how to do it cuz she watches us all the time and couldnt understand why I was cross at her being in our room !!!

I have a feeling things are going to get worse when baby is here, but usually she is really good, but when shes bad, shes very very bad !!

Trial and error I'm afraid. Was 16 when I had my 1st and was at ease straight away. I'm one of those people who just wanted to have a big family. Will foster later I'm sure. I'm a great believer in doing what feels right, and that can be different with each baby. Don't necessarily be swayed by what the experts call the 'right way!' But saying that never compromise on safety recommendations. When the MW visit listen to her carefully but if you need to adapt something as you feel more comfortable do, your mum after all.

I wont be able to get on like SM has, there is no internet in my hospital, and I will be in for at least 3 days

Sooo Erin like, not my fault is her favourite saying. Keep wondering when she will decide that she's watched me drive the car enough to have a go! :eek:
