Oh Nicki (((hugs))). Luckily my hospital is a new one so I don't have to 'walk haunted ground' so to speak. And my consultant has been great and talked over how scarred I am from DS2. But I'm still scared, and getting more so the closer to the birth I get.

No answers for you, but your not alone in it. Maybe speak to your consultant or a mw and ask for some help dealing with the memories? Maybe if you visit where you will give birth a few times before it happens you will not have a panic when you get there?

I just had a little nesting moment and cleaned out the tumble dryer, hoovered my room, the stairs, downstairs, mopped the floor. Knackered now though.

The surestart? You can send off a form now (search back I posted a link to the printable one) if you are over 29 weeks. If you don't get it now, apply after bubs is born as you may get it then. Also try entitledto.com and put in say yesterdays date for your childs DOB.

I'm not much more use than that sorry!

Nicki, just so you know, I'm not ignoring your post, I just really dont know what to say. I dont know if you read my post last week, but I was told the whole way through this pregnancy that I was to have a section and was then told that I could have a trial of labour if I wanted one and I spent the whole day and night crying because I remember Jasmines !!

I am taking the section as I know what is happening,and I feel I can control it better, but I was lucky in that my MW was really good at talking it over with me.

Dont worry if you break down in front of the consultant, its what they have these appointments for

Mmmmm. Cheeseburger and fries and a milkshake. Although the guy gave me a vanilla milkshake and then when I complained asked me if it was so important that I had a chocolate milkshake and not vanilla!

I have made a lovely shephards pie for dinner but i can't face it i have come over all sicky and got tummy ache, I am sure it is just nerves for my scan tomorrow. My mum has been on the phone trying to get me to go and see my sister in law tomorrow pm with her (when i have the scan) It's arkward as her mother has sadly died so mum wants us to go but i had to make up some reason not to.
Fingers crossed bub will be fine but i am getting in a right old panic that they won't find a heart beat.

Found out my doppler to reasure myself but the battery is dead and i don't have the correct size replacement and no way of charging it.

Is he not paid to take orders and fill them correctly?? What a cheeky little sod, I'd have demanded the manager right there and then and then maybe thrown a hormonal strop just for the effect.

If my German was better I would have. I normally make my OH complain about things because I'm always nervous that they'll say something I just don't understand. This particular guy's been rude to me before; if he ever does it while my beloved is there we'll do something about it.
