Thanks Sami. Even better for now, OH found some Dolmio packets in Somerfield Going to have steak slice in a bit, then pasta and bolgnaise sauce later on.

My parents are on their way in. Mum wasn't going to come and assumed Dad would be tired (back at work now and was out late last night - his birthday! - at a swanky work do) but he's come home from work desperate to see Rhys cos he didn't see him yesterday, so they're on their way for a quick visit!

OH still slightly grumpy. Think he's a bit mad at me for not eating as well as I could.. hence the pasta I'm going to force myself to have later. Need to find info on what I should be eating.. All the leaflets say I don't need to drink anymore than "normal" but I guess I do as I don't "normally" drink huge amounts - still in the mindset of thinking I have a baby bouncing on my bladder!

elle normal fluid is classed as 2ltrs of water a day (or so i was told) ... awww bless your dad and im sure your OH will be fine hes just worried men :rolleyes: x

its a website with lots of people posting pics of their bumps at different weeks of pregnancy and as you can see there are lots of tiny bumps as well as some truly humungous ones!!!

V. strange, there's a pic on there with a sizeable bump and she reckons it's a 5/6 weeks bump.

Surely not??

beenie i saw a couple like that ... i thought the same.. although im tiny compared to some people all i ever hear is hes gonna be a small baby x

elle, from earlier, I have to agree, I think your OH is worried about going back to work, and that is why he is stroppy !!

Evening folks
Just got toddler to bed 20 mins ago - not got out of his bed yet, so hoping the problems of the last few nights are over!
Had scan this morning - took ages to be seen, then had to go up to clinic to see MW, but had to go to collect little 'un from SIL, so they made me another appt for about 28 wks, said it didn't matter as scan seemed OK & this is my 5th! All together wasted over an hour hanging about, but at least bean's OK, but still don't know flavour. She said she couldn't see any 'boy bits', but wouldn't commit to saying it was a girl. As we've 3 boys & a girl, odds are it's a girl, but don't mind waiting 'til Oct to find out - just so relieved that he/she looks 'normal' - been getting lots of age-related doom-&-gloom comments, so was getting paranoid! :rolleyes:
Re bump sizes - even with last baby (& being overweight) DH said I only looked pg side-on & that towards the end. With eldest wasn't in maternity clothes until last 6 weeks, but I was 18, fit, slim, etc., those were the days, *sigh*..... :rotfl:
