    Happy due date Sami!

Elle- so pleased to hear that Rhys is thriving. He sounds like such a little fighter. Enjoy feeding him today.

Krystal- thank you so much for the pics. They are gorgeous and really put a grin on my face.

Well, I am so tired. I think four early mornings in a row combined with the hot weather have totally done me in. Slept for an hour and a half when I got in but could happily drift off again now. Early night tonight and lie in tomorrow are called for I think! Four days off now though :j:j. I am so pleased!

I did it (the feed) :D

My mum has just come up with the reason for OH's stroppiness.. We think it's cos he's worried about going back to work soon and worried about leaving me with Rhys when I'm not 100% confident (try about 25%!) on doing his cares. Well, he's probably more worried about leaving Rhys with me to be fair! ;):o

He's just sent me a caring txt so hopefully he's coming back in a better mood.. :)

Righty, need to go find out if you can cook dried pasta in a microwave.. Can't find those Dolmio microwave pasta packs anywhere! :(

OK. Nesting update because it makes me feel better to see it :P

The computer room, kitchen and bedroom are all clean and tidy enough to welcome a Bellyfrog. The crib can be winkled out from under the pile of stuff that will eventually go into the nursery and placed in the bedroom with minimal fuss. The boxes in the living room will either be stored with other boxes in the computer room or emptied and their contents displayed (after dinner I am going to force the husband to carry a chair and the remaining whisky into the pantry and when I have put those away I will display the china where the whisky is currently sitting). I will then shower and clean the bathtub while I am in there. My love did a deep clean of the bathroom last week so I do not feel obliged to do too much.

Once those things are done, I will be satisfied with the condition of the apartment insofar as welcoming the new tenant is concerned. The other stuff will still need to be done but it is far less concerning when this stuff is done. And tomorrow evening my poor beloved is going to be lifting and carrying at my direction in the hope that we can cover as much ground in the living room as possible and bring in the piano that we currently have in storage before the child arrives.

I'm glad everyone's doing well and am sending labour vibes to you very pregnant people, sticky vibes to newly pregnant people, healthy vibes to Rhys and his little kidneys and sleepy vibes to everyone.

  • Is anyone on here constantly hungry? I think Cub is having a growth spurt - came back from work early and ate pasta and sauce (huge portion, supposed to be for lunch tomorrow) and now hungry again (kitkat) - when DH comes home in an hour or so then pizza!
MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Always hungry, or else finding it hard to choke down a full sized portion and needing to graze. We're having steak pie and mashed potato for dinner. I smell the pie already... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
