:) Good for you! It's such a small thing, but it shows that you are determined to get back in control of your life.

Oh my goodness!! I am addicted too. It`s like mouth hunger and not stomach hunger when you have just got to eat that certain something

I too had an upbringing in which my parents struggled to put food on the table eg pigs head was on the menu fairly often as were bacon bits etc so maybe that is why I became a food hoarder

I am weaning myself away by following my inventory. Took me two days to make but I laminated the sheets and then write on top with white board pens. I had 13 tins of tomatoes and 9 tins of tuna. I would like a paper today but the only way I can justify getting it is if I cycle. It is 2 miles each way and I don`t feel like the exercise. If I were to take the car then I would be popping into aldi, pound shop etc and I do not need anything, so I am not going

Earwig well done!! You have made more of us aware of this addiction

    well done earwig!!!

It is hard, it's a strange addiction isn't it - although I'm kind of 'cured', it wouldn't take much for me to go and have a splurge in Tesco!

Feels like a self help group

'My name is Keren and I haven't been to a supermarket for 2 days.'

(and this was a lapse because I was full of cold and needed some cold capsules, the chemist was shut and I thought I might have visitors who would need feeding with nibbles, but didn't and now have a tray of 30 various flavoured pakoras in my fridge that have a best before date of tomorrow, and I'm not sure if they are freezable.......whoops.........)
