B1tching and name calling, in fact general abusing of other MSE members is rife here and it is both accepted and allowed by those who own/run/moderate the site.
What i have learned recently is, while the report button will get offensive posts removed, eventually, it won't stop the perpetrators replacing them with more abuse, but if you just take the perpetrator and add him/her to your ignore list, the world of mse will soon become a blissful pace to visit as the trolls/General nasty pieces of work, are silenced for ever, at least as far as your concerned as you will never see another comment they post....Bliss....0 -
Hi,
I don't come on this sub-forum very often, but when I do...well it's a bit of a pain. Usually I'm looking for specific info (using the search button) and while I'm at it I always have a look at some of the recent threads. There doesn't seem to be many threads without some sort of argument arising, and people ganging up using the thanks button a gazillion times for making deregotary statements.
I understand the frustration from both sides, the claimants and the people that work in the benefits sytem. But for the sake of this board and being able to have a great resource for benefits claimants, I think a little mutual respect is needed. Less of the arguments please.
Also, mods, can I suggest you beef up your presence on this board?
Many Thanks
Hahaha the post just after yours and the 7 swift votes of thanks neatly illustrates your point Matt :rotfl:"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

How can the mods find it if they do not exist?
You are very welcome to make contributions to the board. Then maybe you will feel more comfortable here?
Well somebody exists who keeps removing so-called abusive posts (or rather posts that are responding to abuse)!!!

Board Guides and members of the MSE Team can move/ delete/ edit posts. They are not moderators.
Perhaps you should refer to the FAQ's if you are unsure of why so-called abusive posts are removed?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Just to change the subject........i logged in and typed a post of a few paragraphs in answer to a thread then when i clicked "post quick reply" it didnt work and i was logged out. I cant be bothered to type the whole post again........its so frustrating!
I wonder if this one will work and why should you suddenly become "logged out" for no apparent reason?0 -
