Hi,
I don't come on this sub-forum very often, but when I do...well it's a bit of a pain. Usually I'm looking for specific info (using the search button) and while I'm at it I always have a look at some of the recent threads. There doesn't seem to be many threads without some sort of argument arising, and people ganging up using the thanks button a gazillion times for making deregotary statements.
I understand the frustration from both sides, the claimants and the people that work in the benefits sytem. But for the sake of this board and being able to have a great resource for benefits claimants, I think a little mutual respect is needed. Less of the arguments please.
Also, mods, can I suggest you beef up your presence on this board?
Many Thanks

This will hopefully be removed to it's rightful place soon: Site Feedback: Questions and Suggestions
It clearly states at the top of the page that this forum is not moderated.

Wow this is the first time I've come across an un-moderated forum. No wonder there's riots left, right and centre. Please move it to the right forum so that the mods can hopefully be informed of the state of affairs on this sub forum.
Edit: Also, I also don't have the time or will to be reporting every abusive post I see here, I'd be here all day. It should be the job of a moderator to monitor activties on a public forum, or so I thought.0 -

How can the mods find it if they do not exist?
You are very welcome to make contributions to the board. Then maybe you will feel more comfortable here?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Hmm, I have to say every forum has its issues, moderated or not, but mse is a great site on the whole.
Heavily moderated sites are not always the best and Martin clearly has his reasons for leaving this one as it is.
I guess it is up to you to decide what type of site you prefer and stick to those?0 -

Hi Matt,
I know how you feel, it is not a very 'nice' board. I often try to defend people who are getting a hard time from others, or offer a bit of sympathy and understanding when other posters have been perhaps a bit too blunt.
However, it is made very clear at the top of the page that this forum isn't moderated. Given that, it is bound to contain some unpleasant posts as sadly there are plenty of unpleasant people in the world.0 -

Yeah but luckily the unpleasant folk don't hang around on here for long!

This is very true. I don't spend very much time on this forum as I generally prefer moderated sites which are more pleasant. However, I do like to come here sometimes as I think this site gives me an impression of a wider range of public opinion, that would probably be edited out of other sites.0 -
