I did some calculations last year as I was thinking cashing them in, it wasn't really worth it when savings rates were at 6%, with the short time they have left, and with rates now on the floor, I'm kinda glad I didn't.
But what about the stock market, are they not affected?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Has someone got hold of mewbie's password??? - they are making him look like a complete t.wat
The bot program known as Quasar did it. The one that's on here posting all day long...
Apparently it used a brute force attack to hack the account. It has a bit of a temper too. It's been very vindictive of late.Favourite hobbies: Watersports. Relaxing in Coffee Shop. Investing in stocks.

I hope everything is ok in real life land mewbie. I miss your sense of humour.
I have just had enough! I can afford a few thousand posts without thank yous so am planning to go mad, spend them like using a credit card in a big shopping spree.0 -
pathetic isn't it - you would have thought that he would have PM'd me if he had an issue but he obviously want's to try and pick on grammar and spelling instead.0

Dear LIR, everything is absolutely fine. No one stole my password, I have not had bad news, I am not suffering.

Well, thats good news,
I'm glad you are fine and not suffering and not hacked and have not receive bad news.
I'm sorry you have had enough. Enjoy the shopping. Have to say though: its not pretty, and it brings out the worst in everyone.
I'm sorry to worry about you on open forum. I realise it can dent a guy's front to have girls worrying about one, so I'm sorry for that.0 -

So I thought the open attacking would work, but it appears to have mixed results. What I can't manage to do is the constant, sly, boring, monotonous, repeated pick pick picking that slowly drove me temporarily bonkers!
You don't need to thank this btw - stay neutral.

I'm sorry LIR, now I feel like a heel! The problem is - how to register annoyance at someone. No point in creating an alias, and the weapon of humour only goes so far. There's the ignore button, but then you might be missing something, and the person you're ignoring either gets quoted or has half a dozen aliases anyway.

It's important to not get too attached to these pseudonyms. I'm going to log off before I become like Quasar and have no life. You can have this account if you want. You can use it to thank your posts and throw abuse at the sockpuppet army.Favourite hobbies: Watersports. Relaxing in Coffee Shop. Investing in stocks.

Hmm. Not a heel, I'm to fond of you for that accusation....maybe a bit of an instep?
I'm unable to make the alias connections mostly. I'm pretty impressed that people feel able to. I occasionally use ignore. Its a great feature, but I know what you mean.
I feel the same way about the last paragraph. Apar form the driving bonkers bit. I dislike it, I challenge it when pointed at me: but I genuinely don't find it gets to me.
As for thanking, I'll thank who I bloody well want. Thank you very much. :mad:0
