Spud your allergy to the sun doesnt sound like it could be this does it.

I thought for years I was getting prickly heat but it turns out to be this:

    http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/27001527/

Not much that will help with it really except for extreme suncream with filters and antihistamine for the itching.........it makes you bloody miserable too. I get it on my hands so bad that I can barely move my fingers:o

Ohhhh that's what I have.......so nice to be able to put a name to it. I've suffered year in year out since I can remember, it does lessen over a few weeks of exposure to the sun but it's hell on earth when the sun first gets at me....sitting in the car saturday afternoon I was almost in tears as I just felt so wretched with it...I could have happily torn the skin from my arms.

    Nasty, nasty stuff.
