    Morning all,

Up and about early to-day as DGS1 has no school so is here for the day...nice for me, am going to take him out later for cake as I have to go to bank so can treat him too...if OH gets up anytime soon I may treat him as well!

Another beautiful day, only downside is that whole garden needs to be watered, have a few things to plant also which will need lots of water to survive.

Stripping all beds to make sure that washing is well up to date before the cooler weather and rain comes back towards end of week.

Pork chops with whatever veg I can get from garden, have become very 'mean' about buying veg...maybe some bok choy (baby at this stage) to have with oyster sauce...

Hugs to everybody not feeling well, good luck with hospital Donny-gal, take advantage of weather, housework can be done when it rains!

    :hello:Good morning!

Not feeling very awake yet :o

Planning the trip to take a bag of clothes to the Red Cross shop today (was going to go the other day but found one outfit needed washing first) Not a lot else planned yet as it's meant to be very hot today! Will probably clean bathroom floor at some point if I can get the mop bucket out (DH has managed to bury it under gardening tools atm) - Cleaned the rest of the bathrom y'day.

Dinner - probably pasta with pesto, nice and easy

Good luck to all of "our" young people doing exams - not the weather for it, is it!

    ((((Hugs)))) to all.

    'Morning All! :hello:

Thanks so much for your welcomes back & good wishes yesterday - it really means a lot and cheered me up no end this morning when I came back in to read them. I needed it, as I felt a little down-in-the-dumps last nite and this morning  - a combination of the dreaded hormones swilling around in my system, and feeling generally grotty so I can't make the most of this lovely weather like I want to. Still - calling up all the PMA I can muster at the moment, and DH is being really nice and especially kind to me at the mo!;)

Disappointed that the w/e forecast is not so good - we hoped to be able to build our canopy over the decking (well DH & DSS#2 wil be building it - I am usually 'builders mate' but DSS#2 usurps me when he is around! - but if I still feel grotty I won't mind too much!;)) and have a BBQ with the DSK's, as most of our friends are away for the w/e. Oh well, the forecast MAY be wrong - you never know!

Made a gorgeous loaf with pumpkin & sunflower seeds in it - DH doesn't like 'bread with bits in' so it's mine - all mine!:rotfl:

Not sure what is for dinner tonite - made a lovely shepherd's pie last nite - then had indigestion after wards, which is very rare for me! My meal-plan says 'something with pasta' so guess I wasn't feeling very inspired at that point! Got a bottle of passata open from when I made pizzas at the weekend, so I guess the 'something' with be tomato-sauce-based.....

Oh well, best get on with some work I suppose - it's not very exciting but at least it pays the bills, and keep me inside away from the pollen - but if those engineers leave the door open 'to let in the lovely fresh air' ONE MORE TIME I SWEAR I WILL.........

    Morning all,

At w*rk today until 6, then I'm off to give my exOH some of his things back that he left at mine. We broke up last night, tbh I have no idea why. I know we were only together for two months, but it's completely thrown me. I was starting to fall for him. He was the first guy in years I'd really opened up to and now I feel like a fool. Feel really gutted, and quite hungover.

    ((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))) to everybody,

    TM xx

What a glorious day again! I'm back to work tomorrow after having the whole of half term off, so I don't mind if its a bit cooler, as I hate being at work when its hot, it seems so unfair!

Haribo, the free retro fridge sounds ace, hope you find somewhere to put it!

Not a lot going on here. I spent this morning writing a letter to support my daughters application to transfer schools in September. We moved 18 months ago, but for various reasons decided that this would be the best time for her to move, as my DS is also moving on to secondary school, and she will be going into year 6. The school I want her to go to she would continue at for secondary school as well, but it is full. I was told I could send in further information as to why I was applying there, so thats what I've done. Don't hold out much hope, and think it will go to appeal, but fingers crossed.

Busy evening tonight. DS and DD have cricket after school, then its straight to swimming training for DD for 1.5 hrs, then straight onto scouts for DD! Luckily its a BBQ at scouts, so she will get chance to eat! She'll sleep well tonight I'm sure.

Anyway, lunch is ready in the oven, so best stop typing now.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Afternoon OS lovelies! hi.gif

Pinkwinged - thank you and it must be so exciting to have all those little plums appearing.
Haribo - hope your cold clears up soon hon, and bees, tackle - ouch!:rotfl:
Taplady - hope you felt better as the day progressed.
Ivyleaf - hope the Dr can find someone to deal with your varicose veins hon.
FairyElephant - Good luck with the IVF. crossfingers.gif
Cranky - hope you feel better soon hon, that sounds nasty
ladymay - I am so sorry your fledgling relationship is over. Doesn't matter how long you were with him, if you cared for him then you cared for him and of course you will be upset. *hugs* honey.
Elona - thanks for the hugs

I am jealous of everyone with fruit and veg showing on their plants, I was really late with all of mine so still at the growing stage - no sign of anything edible except lettuce leaves! Some of my chilli plants are still no more than seedlings but I will have to hope they shoot up soon! I do have a few flowers on my strawbugs though so that looks promising.

Not much OS going on today as I am home alone again (OH gets back from France in the wee small hours). I will have sandwiches for lunch with the bread left from the BM yesterday and probably something nutritious like a pot noodle for dinner. (Does that statement get me thrown off the OS thread?? :rotfl::rotfl:)

goodluck2.gif to all the children taking exams today and extra hugs.giffor you mums and dads dealing with exam stress!

Warm gentle hugs for all - Have a great day

Just heard about the Air France plane going down in the ocean - 220 people missing - all those poor families at home waiting for them. Have lit a candle for them all. Makes you feel lucky to have your loved ones safe.

Now why did I think it was a good idea to do baking today? It's roasting in my kitchen (at least it's north facing, I'd be limp as a lettuce if it was south) and even with the door open and the windows it's hot in here.

Ladymay - very sorry you're upset about your breakup. did he not tell you why? hug
