I'm feeling a bit left out with all the claiming going on.
So, I'm claiming Burns.
You get two bits of fish here, tooWell, there is one thing no-one can claim, and that is Glasgow is the most friendliest city on the planet. :j :j
Like good food and drink?

Hmmm, depends..... I live next door (ish) to the place he wrote "To a mouse", so he may well be mine - but I'm happy to share!
Burns wanted to meet the person (or one of his successors anyway) for whom my town is named, so really when you think about it, he wanted to be more mine than yours0 -
not sure if its been mentioned but when we were down in Edinburgh they asked if we wanted sot and soz (well thats what it sounded like lol) with our chippy!....weird!! It always salt and vinegar here! You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -

What they are asking is 'salt and sauce'.

You'll love Scotland, I might be wrong but I thought you were from Liverpool, if you move to Glasgow , Glaswegians love Scousers
My sis lives in Knightswood in a lovely area not far from Clydebank, my OH lives in the South side .....I'm near Stilrling bout 40 mins north of Glasgow (tho TBH I wouldnt want to have to do that drive evry morning and evening)
Glasgow is a really beautiful city, I particularly love the view at night from the Kingaton Bridge
Juat a coupla weeks ago we walked from Glasgow Green to the SECC right along the Clyde,
Glasgow also has got some very beautiful parks.....Pollok, Bellahouston and Victoria Park, there are others but those are the ones Im familiar with
Shopping is fantastic, I like Glasgow Fort, cos its easy for me to get to but if you've got loadsa money Glasgow City Centre is the place to go
