I'm surprised no-one has yet mentioned the Scottish obsession with getting their messages. Does this happen over the entire country, or just in parts? However hard up you are, never accept loans from your friends. Just gifts0

We get our messages online these days and they come in a wee van. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

My mum's not very well just now, so as well as getting my own messages, I have to get hers as well. And when there are 6 of you in a house, there's always messages to be got. I sometimes forget to take my message bags with me though.0

I think it is just a Glasgow/West Coast thing, here in Aberdeen I have hardly ever heard anyone using it, but when I stayed in Glasgow it was an everyday thing.
No, it's very common in Fife too. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
