Aye, the filter's pish. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
Micheal Marra, 1952 - 20120 -
Well the rain in the summer is warmer than in the winter, but apart from that the people are great and very friendly.Although I was born in the east end of London my whole family came from Scotland and as a child I can remember many a happy hour being thrown into the sea at Montrose in what I thought was mid-winter but was apparently high summer.
No I like Scotland but I don't like the midges,rain, bannocksand cold.But I love the people,the scenery,the kindness,hospitality and of course the stovies.0 -

I like to hear non-Scottish people trying to pronounce that sound. But it's easy. If you can say Bach, as in the composer, you can pronounce words like 'loch' or 'keech' too.0 -

Edinburgh only just beats Dublin by a short head in the "filthy City stakes" , but my gosh its a dirty old place.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
two years later and you are still wittering on....I have to say that when I went to Edinburgh they obviously were not spending all their UK tax moneys on road cleaners, it was one of the dirtiest places I have ever been to, even my friend Rhoderi said that everyone he has spoken to is saying Scotland is a dirty place, and if you dont eat soup or fried dont plan on eating0 -
Thank you Edinburgh, I always knew it was not just me who felt that way.0
