    When mine was opened by the bank manager (small branch!) he said I could only have one! :mad:
    Tell him to check on the LTSB Intranet - I was told 'only 1 per customer' until I insisted on a check.
  • I think it is a maximum of 3 or at least it was.

    Further down this thread it mentioned a change - but was that a change from an infinite number to maximum 3 though?

    Believe so -I have 7, but that got restricted to 3 at some point.

    It changed from an unlimited number to a maximum of three on 23 July 09 when online applications were stopped (unless you already had access to online banking where it was still posiible to open numerous basic accounts and then upgrade them).
    Fortunately I also got seven up and running before the clampdown.

    I get the same message, even when it pro-actively suggests I should open another account!!

    I have one at the moment.
    I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

    I remember that I used to get this message. I just tried again now....it worked. But they said they would contact me if my application was succeeded. And I got 4 with them at the moment. If it worked, I would open 2 more!
