DH stopped working upstairs so I got up there and did the bathroom and toilet. Before that I finished sorting out the photos on the computer. So, Soappie, please can I have a star for Thursday :)

I'm really hot now, going to sit down for half an hour before I go to work!

    Afternoon all,

Well that's 2 job applications handed in, and 2 library books returned this afternoon. Have also done some of my lists unintentionally, so will update in a second when I've copied and pasted them properly.

Glad to hear that toots is chirpy! Sarah I agree that the place isn't the same without her.

mudbath I loved the story about the apple.

rosepink well done with the walking - hope your day improves.

summermoon I completely sympathise with you on your OH's lack of help - my OH and I have been together for 7 years, and I made the awful mistake of when we moved in together, of trying to impress him by doing everything, and made a rod for my own back, as it's now expected. I don't iron his shirts any more now, but I still wash them and dry them and make sure they're all hung up so they don't crease.

greenbee I don't know where you get all of your energy from!

rach I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to see your sister and nephew and that she's doing better.

michelle I'm glad that you're off work for a bit - I'd give that nursery what for, after all, as others have said, they still have a duty of care for their pupils. Let us know the outcome won't you?

    Sorry to anyone I've forgotten.

Been and voted, the European vote paper in my area was about a mile long, at least half of the parties I had never heard of!! at least I remembered my glasses so I could see the thing!!

Michelle~# I am horrified about a wooden wall falling on your child, please make sure you speak direct to the nursery manager and if it is part of a group the main head office as well, and make sure you make plenty of fuss about it, and that they have recorded in in their accident book as well.

someone needs to kick me...I kow I need to do my expenses but I keep finding other things to do.

Massive wave of tiredness and emotion hit just now. Then I realised it's no wonder, in the last week so much has happened (in order, not importance!): finding out about the PCOS, my sister giving birth and nearly dying, handing my notice in and travelling hundreds of miles and seeing my sister and baby which was v emotional!! Very glad we're on hols from tomorrow!

Stars updated - including my own. I have done the bathroom.
Also done the voting bit and like Kazw - my ballot slip was about a mile long too

Am now going to prep dinner and do a bit of writing then I'm off out to a meeting at 7pm. I refuse to stay more than an hour. I shall use having the dinner in the oven as an excuse to nip off early!

Hugs Rach - you're entitled to have a wobbly moment. Why don't you do your expenses now (then just think, the money will be repaid that bit quicker) so it's not hanging around for your holidays. Then open a bottle of wine and put your feet up for the evening. I think you're allowed a little ~Me~ time. xx
