god i'm so bored, I hate Ofsted! I can teach fine, why do I have to write all my lesson plans in minute detail? Even the ironing is more fun than this:eek: Stop talking about bb and reading books I can't do either:mad:Cross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0

Rose, it's nothing to do with a museum,
it's a family story essentially, but her characterisation is amazing. It has some incredible twists and turns. I hope you enjoy it when/if you get it.

I read When Will There Be Good News when I was on holiday. I loved it! Thank you SS, that reminds me, I must investigate more Kate Atkinson books. Are they all set in Edinburgh?0 -
I second or third ( ? ) recommending people to read " Behind the Scenes of the Museum"....it's one of those books that just sparkles, and makes me really wish that I could write like that!
I have to admit that I have no stars this week, but I do have for the first time in a very long time, clean and sparkly windows in my kitchen and dining room....went for it today and my doesn't it make a difference
On that minor triumph I am off to bed.........0 -
Off to bed now to read, just watched George Gently on catchup from last Sunday and then Bill Bailey.
I'm reading The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh at the moment, I'm not loving it but it's OK.0 -

toochoosey good luck x
rosepink it's usually a good idea to see if they are friends with other MSE friends of yours, that's how I tend to figure out where people got my facebook link to from
pigpen well done on finishing that assignment! Our houses are unfortunately similar, between things we want to do, meetings/appointments and assignments there just isn't any time left. I have put a bin in each room hoping to dampen down a little.
thrity hope it passes without too much more grief, Ofsted can be worrying but nice when you get a great report
boddy if I can find them, would you like to borrow some SW recipe books? I am sure I have a stack of them somewhere. Will have a look for them if you do.
Big Brother, not for me, prefer to stick biros in eyes.
Dusty, sorry you made me giggle with the cats :rotfl: summarises how I feel at the minute too
Another who has read through messages and realised I also have a washer load full, bother. I've been out with friends this evening for a meal, they only come up every so often so I didn't want to miss spending time with them. If the weather is ok tomorrow I will be going to Croft to see them. It's a track race day so will be great as not been for ages but I will do an hour housework before I go then go as my reward. Meeting friends and support group on evening for Diggerland so a busy day.
Given I have remembered I need to empty washer, I know I also need to refill with uniforms from Friday. I also need to find DPs brace for tomorrow......poo I shouldn't have sat reading for ages instead of getting on with it.One day I might be more organised...........
