:hello: They were agricultural labourers, nothing fancy at all, but they happened to stay put in their little hamlet for hundreds of years, only made it into Liverpool when my great great great grandmother had an illegitimate baby in the 1850s. Its *weird* walking around there.
EDIT PS I've gone all shy.... thank you for your comments!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hmm, I wrote a list of what I'd done today earlier on, then forgot I hadn't posted it
, so I lost it. Here we go again then:
- checked mystery shopping, nabbed two more phone calls.
- bathroom work - cleaned up old sealant.
- paid money to France.
Um, that lot took about 15 minutes
. I had some paid work as well, and did some other dfw stuff, but I wasted a *lot* of time today, as well as just giving up and watching a bit of junk telly.
:D
Plus I chopped up a whole cassette tape into little tiny pieces. It was a session recording, and I couldn't tape over it to make it safe to throw away, so cutting the tape into *really* small pieces was the only thing I could do. It took forever! :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Best thing to do with things like that is wait until you have a barbie...and in it goes... (after the food of course...

Oh yum! :rotfl:
Today, the plan around this stuff is:
- put the sealant on
- clean the sides of the bath
- clean windowsills.
- extra phone mystery shop.
- I think I'm going to cancel the delayed bank shop. When I had another bank one to do, it made sense. But its quite far along the coast, and there's only one of them, it will take too much energy, I'm going to be kind to myself.
- rake up the dead grass I've let lie in place to dry out.
Thats it for now. Hope everyone has a good day.

:rotfl: Shaun, you could *definitely* get out of debt if you started writing a book - you have a fantastic turn of phrase! I know you'd need a spellchecker (wordchecker!! oops) every step of the way, but you write *so* well.
I had some paid work... then lunch... and now, ta-da, I'm cooking! Wanted some carbohydrate, my stomach is rebelling against pasta, don't have any potatoes, don't fancy rice, barley takes too long .... so I'm cooking some sweet scotch pancakes! The first ones were really burnt (and I ate them anyway) I've loosened up the mix with some more milk, and I've got a bit of a production line going. I'm so proud
