Bob - yep, I'm taking baby steps! this idea of public weekly goals could be a goer!
taka - hi!!! Yep, I'm really looking forward to the film; I'm glad I've put it up on here, because I'm such an antisocial little tyke, I'd be likely to skip it and go home.
shaun - you have an idea there, O Barking One - just beam me over to the new SF thread, will you? And as Jack would also say, yadda yadda yadda.....
{twinkle twinkle, scrunchy tinfoil (which is what the original effect was) I'm off on the transporter to fiddle about on the trading....see you all later)

duchy - thank you! that would be nice. I'll think of you sitting in the next seat
EDIT - I just got a proofreading query from RE - I nominated one guy for exceptional service, so they rang up and asked how tall he was, I forgot that bit

 I hate proof reading queries

One week goals - an excellent achievable idea. :T
And I'm particularly impressed by the seeing a film one - I never manage that nowadays. I get indoors and I don't want to get up from the sofa
(and I'm waiting for it to be on the plane.) 0 -
Especially such daft ones! I hate proof reading queries
Thank you! I didn't want to go for a diary, the "tone" of it just didn't appeal to me right now, I'm still thinking about my brother in law and my sister at the back of my head, so to speak, but I wanted a big *focus*.One week goals - an excellent achievable idea. :T
:rotfl:I really couldn't tell you the last time I saw a film, I *so* identify with what you're saying - except for the plane part, I haven't flown for about 5 years, unfortunately. But you have Popeye! :j Anyway, got to do some paid work now for an hour, so signing off.....And I'm particularly impressed by the seeing a film one - I never manage that nowadays. Okay, thats it on the paperwork for today, because its France, I'm going crazy. Today, on these goals, I have:
- cleaned the bath and the tiles immediately by it so I can put the sealant strips on.
- got my French paperwork together. I have:- collected the paperwork
- found 2 statements missing  and manged to print out the relevant bits from online.
- tried to sign up for online banking with the mortgage, but the loan number keeps coming up as wrong - there was a merger a few years ago, and the loan numbers are crazy.
- emailed them - in French  - to ask them to tell me what the bleep I should do
- emailed the accountant pleading ignorance as to whether or not I've paid their invoice
:o:o
Couldn't do the first mystery shop - had to get the call recorded, and its gone funny. Have emailed the firm.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well. Bit of a shocker today
:o
Mystery shops. Did two, and have submitted them. But for only about the third time in 18 months, I had to pass on one - I couldn't get there for the right time, so I just turned back. I wasted an hour, but better than wasting two, I guess.
Star Trek. The very, very very last thing I wanted to do when I'd got back to town was to go into a cinema. All I could think of was getting home and eating and laying down. So I did.
So the list looks like this:- 3 mystery shops; I'm not worried about doing these
done two, rescheduled one for next Monday.
- I want to go see Star Trek on Tuesday No. Too tired, tho I feel okay now.
- sort out my bathroom - everything! Started. Cleaned the bath properly, including descaler around the taps.
- plant the plants I've got sitting on the patio. Done.
- work on the French mortgage: Started. Collected paperwork, found missing paperwork, two emails sent.
Hmm. In relation to the bathroom and the mortgage, I have *so* much more I need to do. And the garden makes my heart sink every time I go out there, tho I *did* do the potting.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, you are not yet half way through the week, but you seem to be more than half way through the list....so that looks pretty good to me!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi KC, I really like the idea of short term goals/challenges. Good to keep focus & you've done loads already & it's only Tuesday!! I'm always impressed with anyone that does mystery shops, I really want to just can't find the time/energy/motivation/focus/etc! (Delete as appropriate!!) Oh, & the ST film is really good!
